This is for Christina Davis's "Halloween Spooktacular" artshow. Lol I know Halloween is a ways off but everything has to be in by the 1st
I was trying to get ideas for my piece when I was looking through an older issue of Gothic Beauty and came across a lovely picture in an article about Eternal Love clothing. Which inspired this.
Yes, I agree. The purple and orange go really well together. This is absolutely beautiful! I love the dress design.
Good luck!

Ahh, that's very nice and dark
Love the background and color choice. I don't think you could ever go wrong with those.
And here's some critique: the neck should either be a little bit thinner or longer. The hands are too small, but despite that they're quite well drawn (I'm pointing it out 'cause hands are one of the hardest things to draw correctly), I think her (right) arm seems kind of thin too. Overall, these are all proportion issues, but I'm sure you'll get them right eventually.
Here's a link to a tutorial that might be of help: [link]

Thanks I had trouble with the hands, at least the one holding the mask, because of how it's positioned. Same with the neck. And thanks, that tutorial was helpful!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
